This Privacy Policy describes how Splat Pop ("we", "us", or "our"), operated by Nice Notions LLC, collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application ("App").

Information We Collect

We collect minimal information to provide and improve our service:

• Gameplay Data: We collect anonymous gameplay statistics such as scores, game sessions, and achievements to improve the game experience.
• Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and optimization purposes.
• Analytics Data: We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the App. This helps us improve features and fix issues.
• Account Identifier (Optional): The App may use Firebase Authentication to create an anonymous identifier for cloud sync. If you choose to sign in with Apple, we may receive a stable user identifier from Apple and (if you consent) your email and name.
• Location (Optional): If you grant location permission, the App can use your device location to fetch local weather conditions and show matching visual effects.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Personal identification information (name, email, address)
• Contact lists or phone data
• Photos or media (except artwork you choose to share)

Location and Weather Effects

If you grant location permission, the App uses your latitude/longitude to request current weather data so it can display matching visual effects. Location is not stored by us, but it is sent to a weather data provider as part of the request.

How We Use Information

We use the collected information for:

• Providing and maintaining the App
• Improving game features and user experience
• Analyzing usage patterns to fix bugs and optimize performance
• Displaying relevant advertisements (for free users)

Advertising

Our App may display advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data for personalized advertising. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings:

• iOS: Settings > Privacy > Apple Advertising > Turn off Personalized Ads
• Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization

In-App Purchases

Any in-app purchases are processed securely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not have access to your payment information.

Data Storage and Security

Your game progress and settings are stored locally on your device. If cloud sync is enabled, progress may also be stored in Firebase services (e.g., Firestore/Storage) under your anonymous or signed-in account identifier.

Children's Privacy

Our App is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The game does not require account creation or personal information to play.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase Analytics: For anonymous usage analytics
• Google Firebase Authentication: For anonymous sign-in and optional Sign in with Apple
• Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements
• Apple/Google Play Services: For in-app purchases and app reviews

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing their data practices.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete your local game data by uninstalling the App
• Opt out of personalized advertising
• Request information about data we collect (contact us)

Account and Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your Splat Pop account data and associated cloud-synced progress by emailing apps@nicenotions.com with the subject "Splat Pop data deletion request". We delete Firebase account identifiers, cloud-synced gameplay progress, and cloud artwork associated with your account unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or purchase records handled by the app store.

You can also delete local-only gameplay data at any time by uninstalling the App from your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last updated" date.
